Wood Care Instructions

Never soak or submerge a wooden toy in water. Doing so may cause the wood to swell and change shape because it is porous. Just wipe with a damp cloth and then air dry. If needed, use a mild dish soap or vinegar and dilute with water. Unlike plastic toys, wood has a natural antibacterial quality so they will not be as affected by germs. Drying in the sun will speed up drying and will naturally kill more germs. Be sure to monitor while drying in the sun because prolonged exposure can also cause colors to fade and the wood to crack

Some wooden toys will benefit from occasional moisturizing. We use a mixture of beeswax and organic jojoba oil.
